My
main occupation is art instruction in Faculty of Fine Arts, Rajabhat institute
Yala, and side by side I'm teaching and painting. Painting is professional
credit but teaching is theoretical academic credit.
Once,
my student asked me about the style of mine " What they call of your
style and why you do not fuse you brush strokes" ," Are you sure,
your work already completed" and so on. If I do not know about theoretical
academy, how can I explain them such sophisticate art questions. The same
as my studio practical, I teach them through my work process expose. I used
to worked step by step systematically as the old master. It began with the
rough sketches and develop to drawings and colour sketches, water colour and
finally the process of oil on canvas. I teach them by sign observation,by
demonstration, they might see how the painting's been done.

Let me back to the question : what the style of my painting's called. It is
the style of impressionism but l rather call Thai-impressionism because I
express through the sense of Thai artist it may different from the previous
French Impressionism that took place in 19th century. The young artists who
innovated the painting both in technique and subject matter. The technique
,it's changed from the dull brown of underpainting to the freshness of direct
painting and the subject matter to paint what you see instead of mythological
subject. I take the technical main point of them to paint by juxtaposition
the brush strokes to gain the vibration of visual effect, it look like the
sparkling sunlight on the object surface. I work both by systematically and
spontaneously in various medium to search the more suitable effect to the
specific subject, some painting's quested by student it rather look unfinished.
My previous paintings almost the whole painted with oil medium but It took
difficulty about the quality of slowly dry. Acrylic paint is my new experimental
medium and I found the most suitable one for impressionism style especially
to work by spontaneity due to the quality of rapidly dry and the more brilliant
of colour effect and the paint also flexible more resistance of cracking.

Picasso,
once he quoted " I do not search but I found". I dare
not enough to say such words
but I simply say " the more I painted, the more l found".
